Park rules

Leave the ridge the way you found it

  1. 01

Pack it in, pack it out

There are no trash cans past the trailhead. Whatever you carry up comes back down with you.

  2. 02

    Stay on the trail

The alpine meadows take decades to recover from a single shortcut.

  3. 03

    Let wildlife stay wild

Keep at least 25 meters from elk and 100 meters from bears. Store food in the lockers.

  4. 04

    Fires in rings only

Campfires are allowed in the steel rings at Pine Hollow. Check the fire danger board first.

  5. 05

Quiet hours, 10 PM to 6 AM

Sound carries across the lake. So do the stars, if you're quiet enough to notice.

See you on the ridge.
