Senior Software Developer in Colorado with 10 years of experience building web applications and AI-powered products.

I specialize in Ruby on Rails, with additional experience in React, Swift, and Java. I'm also comfortable with other Ruby frameworks like Hanami, and I'm on the Hanami Maintainer Team.

I use AI tools every day to move faster, from exploring unfamiliar code to prototyping and reviewing changes, and I build AI features that solve real problems for customers. I care deeply about writing maintainable code and helping teams ship great products.

  • Build customer-facing AI features, including Task Generation and Refine with AI, which help field leaders write clear, actionable tasks for their store associates.
  • Partner with teams across the company to drive adoption of AI tools and grow AI enablement throughout the organization.
  • Pay down the technical debt backlog to keep the codebase healthy and make future work faster and safer to ship.
  • Built a Test Deflaker agent that finds and fixes flaky tests, keeping CI reliable without pulling engineers off feature work.

Soundstripe

Music licensing platform for high-quality tracks, sound effects, and stock footage.

  • Modernized the technology stack by upgrading Ruby and Rails, and implementing modern JavaScript bundlers and CSS pipelines to improve performance and developer productivity.
  • Led technical discovery and execution of an incremental migration from React toward a full-stack Rails architecture, improving maintainability and alignment with team expertise.

Podia

All-in-one platform for websites, email marketing, and digital products.

  • Built and integrated a custom in-house text editor using React and TipTap, rolling it out across the platform with zero data loss.
  • Shipped a live chat feature enabling real-time customer-to-creator communication.
  • Designed a robust feature-gating system that let developers add new features or adjust limits without significant code overhead.
  • Championed and led development on membership trials, teammate support, and a complete rewrite of the customer product experience.
